GLATA History & Archives

Moving Forward - Preserving The Past
The GLATA History & Archives Committee is comprised of a Coordinator and two members that have preserved and catalogued 38 linear feet of materials and documents for preservation of the Association’s history. The Committee gathers a variety of documents and items that reflect our history through tangible examples of what our membership has accomplished. The documents are then archived at Purdue University’s Archives & Special Collections Library.
History & Archives provides assistance with location of documents, verification of member involvement, consults in establishment of state archives, production of an annual display, maintenance of a historical time line and maintains a digital record of the associations meeting minutes.
H & A prefers original documentation, as that is the industry standard, but will accept electronic copies that will be converted to hard copies for storage and retention.
