NATA Honors & Awards Criteria
- Hall of Fame (prerequisite: 25 years certified) Reserved for those who have had an exemplary career as a certified athletic trainer
- Most Distinguished Athletic Trainer (prerequisite: 20 years certified) Career contributions at the state, district and national levels
- Athletic Trainer Service Award (prerequisite: 15 years certified) Reflective primarily of contributions at local and state levels
- President's Challenge Award Recognition of a physician or other health care professional that is an advocate of the athletic training profession
- Honorary Membership A non-athletic trainer who has contributed to the growth of our profession and association
